Workplace unity in divided times: Support from the BDA

The BDA Trade Union is acutely aware that many of our members may need some extra support at work especially if they experience any forms of harassment or discrimination. All members have an equal right to dignity, kindness and respect in the workplace.

With that in mind we are holding a short webinar with Annette Mansell-Green, Director of Trade Union and Public Affairs, who will explain what support is available and to understand member experiences in the workplace.

We recently published a short statement on recent public debates around immigration, demonstrations and flag raising, which have created unwanted tensions in workplaces and communities. We understand that this is contributing to a climate of fear, division and intimidation leaving people from our diverse and global profession feeling intimidated, isolated or excluded.

BDA member attend for free

  • We ask that any questions are submitted in advance of the webinar either during your booking or send to [email protected] to allow the BDA Trade Union team enough time to prepare for anything specific. Please note that they cannot comment on individual cases but can pick this up with you after.
  • This is an upsetting and worrying time for many members and we want this to be a supportive space, ensuring members get the information they need for themselves or their teams, so please, as ever, be respectful of each other through the course of the webinar.
  • The webinar will be recorded for those unable to attend on the day, please still register so you get the recording afterwards.
