Miss Naomi Leppitt
Hi, I am Naomi, a registered dietitian with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA).
I started my journey into nutrition while living in California, USA, where I became passionate about food for health and qualified as a coach. Wanting to learn more about nutrition, health and disease, I studied at and graduated from the University of Surrey.
I currently also work in the NHS specialising in weight change (up or down!) and gastrointestinal disorders with advanced FODMAP training from King’s College London. It always brings me great pleasure to see the impact dietary changes have on improving symptoms.
Writing is another passion of mine, and I have had articles published in several magazines for healthcare professionals, and worked for food companies, writing many posts on diet and nutrition.
I love to not only help people improve their relationship with food, but also their relationship with themselves. I’m positive and kind and with my training in motivational interviewing and behaviour change, I’m able to explore an individual’s priorities and ascertain the goals they want to achieve and strategize how to get there.
