Hi, I’m Nastaran, a registered Dietitian with over 13 years of experience supporting individuals to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives by managing chronic health conditions through evidence-based nutrition.
My areas of focus include Type 2 diabetes, obesity, and weight-related concerns. I take a whole-person approach that goes beyond symptom management to support lasting improvements in physical and mental health.
I was diagnosed as autistic later in life, after years of navigating the stress of everyday life alongside a demanding professional career. This personal journey has given me deep insight into how neurodivergence can influence emotional well-being, energy regulation, and the way we relate to food. Learning to recognise these signs and develop supportive strategies, particularly around nutrition, has been transformative, both personally and professionally.
I bring this lived experience, alongside a research-driven clinical approach, into my practice. I understand that food and mood are closely linked, and I work to help clients explore how nutritional imbalances may be affecting their mental health, while supporting them to make meaningful, manageable changes.
In my recent work with learning disability and mental health services, I’ve seen how nutritional care is often underutilised in healthcare settings. This is why I’m passionate about delivering preventative, innovative, and person-centred care.
