A 90-minute webinar hosted by the Critical Care Specialist Group, perfect for students, new graduates, or dietitians interested in learning about the fundamentals of critical care dietetics. 

What to expect

The session will introduce the critical care environment, critical illness and organ support.

We will discuss the assessment of a critically unwell adult, going through anthropometry, biochemistry, the clinical situation, nutritional assessment and other relevant factors.

Nutritional guidelines relevant to the area will be introduced and a case study patient will be referenced throughout, to tie in the information discussed.
