I am a sport nutritionist and exercise physiologist based at Liverpool John Moores University. For the past 14 years I have been undertaking research in weight-making on physical & mental health, and performance in GB-based jockeys, resulting in 15 peer-reviewed publications to date. In addition, I have presented at over 30 conferences globally on jockey health and well-being, and provide 'best' nutritional guidelines for jockey's representative organisations in GB, Australia and Hong Kong. Additionally, I am sport nutritionist to the British Equine Federation and their P1, 2, and 3, rider's programmes. Amongst other sports, I am currently also sport nutritionist in professional boxing and have previously worked in professional football.
