Hosted by Cardiovascular Specialist Group
GLP-1 receptor agonists are transforming the management of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. This session will provide an overview of current national guidance, review the latest evidence on cardiovascular and heart failure outcomes, and explore what these developments mean for clinical practice. Alongside discussing the potential benefits and limitations of these therapies, the session will highlight emerging research and consider how treatment decisions can be tailored to individual patient needs. Attendees will leave with a practical understanding of this fast-moving area and its implications for patient care.
