Speakers
Heather Nunn is a Prescribing Support Dietitian, with specialist expertise in the prescribing of nutrition borderline substances and governance. She is Chair of the BDA Optimising Nutrition Prescribing Specialist Group (ONPSG) and has contributed to the 7th edition of the Manual of Dietetic Practice. Heather has a particular interest in safe, effective and value based prescribing of nutrition products across care settings.
Monica Compton is a Dietetic Prescribing Advisor working in the Nutrition and Dietetic Department in Northamptonshire and has been in this role for over 15 years, supporting in all aspects of nutritional products in both primary and secondary care. She is the Education Officer for the BDA Optimising Nutrition Prescribing Specialist Group and was the chair when the group became an independent group. Monica has contributed to the 7th edition of the Manual of Dietetic Practice and is dedicated to ensuring that nutritional products adhere the same guiding principles as outlined in the RPS competency framework.
