Alice Twomey is a registered dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), specialising in the management of gastrointestinal conditions, such as irritable bowel syndrome, coeliac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, pelvic floor dysfunction, constipation, gastroparesis and others. She is also able to support with malnutrition and nutritional deficiencies, as well as metabolic health conditions, such as type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol and obesity.

Alice's journey in helping others began with a Masters of Sciences in Dietetics at King's College London, following on from a BSc (Hons) in Nutritional Sciences. Alice spent six years in a large London teaching hospital and worked as a Senior Specialist Gastroenterology Dietitian amongst a research focused team.

Since relocating, Alice has started working with people living with obesity in her local NHS trust, supporting those pre and post operatively for bariatric surgery.

Alice continues to practice gastroenterology dietetics with the Gut Health Clinic under Dr. Megan Rossi, providing online consultations on Fridays.

She is passionate about a holistic approach, viewing the individual as a whole, and patient centred care.
