I'm Rachel, an HCPC-registered specialist dietitian and the founder of Reflective Nutrition, an independent dietetic practice based in Cardiff, offering online consultations for adults.

I qualified as a dietitian in 2002 and have spent over 20 years working in NHS mental health and eating disorder services, supporting children, young people and adults across hospital and community settings. I continue to work in a specialist NHS eating disorder role alongside my independent practice.

My approach combines scientific evidence with psychological understanding, recognising that our relationship with food is influenced by much more than nutritional knowledge alone. I take time to understand each person's experiences, circumstances and difficulties, providing individualised, compassionate and collaborative support.

Through Reflective Nutrition, I offer specialist dietetic assessment and intervention for adults experiencing eating disorders, disordered eating or a complicated relationship with food. This includes support during recovery and following specialist treatment, where independent dietetic input is clinically appropriate.
