Hello, I’m Rachel, a registered clinical and sports dietitian. I am registered with the Sports and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr), I am able to support clients improve their sporting performance (from amateurs to professionals). I also have over 6 years experience working in the NHS, primarily in oncology, but I have worked in a number of other settings including intensive care, surgery, diabetes, malnutrition and weight management.
I have always been keen on participating in sports. I can often be found running, from participating in the local weekly parkrun to ultramarathons. I am also a keen cyclist, skier and surfer. I have wealth of experience and understanding about the balance of nutrition and hydration for health, well-being and sports performance. I can help you to achieve your goals whether it is providing practical evidence based dietary advice for medical conditions or to help you maximise your sporting potential.
I have over 4 years experience as a specialist oncology dietitian, working across the treatment pathway from optimising clients pre-treatment, to living well after cancer, to end of life support. I am on the Medical Advisory Board for Ovacome, ovarian cancer charity. I have the skills and knowledge to support clients and offer 1:1 sessions to provide personalised advice.
