This webinar will provide a review of the latest published and in press research on fat soluble vitamin supplementation and pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy in children on modulators. The speakers will also provide practical updates and an overview of their local guidelines from clinical practice in two large paediatric CF centres illustrated by case studies.

Jordan Bryant, Dietitian, Great Ormond Street Hospital

Jordan will provide an up to date overview of the latest research around fat soluble vitamin supplementation in young children with cystic fibrosis on ETI therapy. They will include the results of a recent project undertaken at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the implications this has for practice. 

Jordan is an Australian trained dietitian who relocated to the UK in 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics. Jordan is currently working at Great Ormond Street Hospital as a clinical paediatric dietitian covering a wide range of areas including Cystic Fibrosis, Cardiac and Paediatric Intensive Care. She has had a special interest in cystic fibrosis since her early studies contributing to a research piece on health outcomes following PEG placement in children with CF, alongside the Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Laura Schembri, Paediatric Respiratory Dietitian & NIHR Predoctoral Fellow, Royal Brompton Hospital

Laura will present on pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy in children with cystic fibrosis on ETI, this will include a comprehensive summary of the research, feedback from a local project which is in press, information on the 2026 RBH guidelines regarding PERT and weaning and a case study.

Laura is a Specialist Paediatric Respiratory Dietitian at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, UK, where she has worked for the past five years. She is completing a National Institute of Health Research pre-doctoral fellowship at Imperial College London, investigating diet quality in children with cystic fibrosis. Since qualifying as a dietitian in 2015, Laura has developed specialist expertise in paediatric nutrition. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master of Public Health and currently serves as Secretary of the British Dietetic Association Cystic Fibrosis Specialist Group Committee.
