Food Services and Sustainable Diets Specialist Groups - Delivering lower carbon NHS menus

Hosted by Food Services and Sustainable Diets Specialist Groups

Healthcare food is changing. Expectations around nutrition, health, sustainability, patient experience and value are evolving rapidly, and dietitians are playing a pivotal role in shaping that future.

The publication of the new BDA Position Statement: Reducing Carbon in NHS Menus marks an important milestone for the profession and all working in NHS food service, responsible for delivering on nutrition, health and sustainability.

We invite members and colleagues across dietetics and food service to gather for an inspiring day of learning, discussion and collaboration on how to deliver lower-carbon NHS menus that continue to meet the highest standards of nutrition, patient care and choice applied retail and patient catering.

This interactive event will bring together people from national leaders to those implementing change on the ground - to exchange, share practical experience including case studies, lessons learned and solutions that can be applied across healthcare settings.
