I’m Amy Buckley, a specialist gastroenterology dietitian at The Gut Health Clinic. I provide personalised, evidence-based support for gastrointestinal conditions, including IBS and IBD, alongside a particular specialism in male and female fertility. To enquire, please contact [email protected].
I work with people who are often navigating ongoing symptoms, complex diagnoses or fertility challenges, and feel unsure how diet fits into the bigger picture. Gastrointestinal health is highly individual, particularly in conditions such as IBD, where symptoms, treatment and disease activity can vary significantly. My approach focuses on understanding your clinical background in detail and translating this into a clear, tailored plan that supports both symptom control and longer-term health, without unnecessary restriction.
I work within an established specialist service led by gut health scientist and thought leader Dr Megan Rossi. The Gut Health Clinic has over 45 years of combined clinical experience and has supported more than 5,000 clients since 2019. Working within a clinic means access to shared clinical frameworks, specialist resources and trusted referral pathways, including collaboration with GPs and gastroenterologists where appropriate.
I’m a Registered Dietitian with extensive experience across the NHS and academic research settings. I am currently completing a PhD at King’s College London, investigating the role of diet and the gut microbiome in IBD activity and treatment response. I hold a first-class Master’s degree in Nutrition and a Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics from King’s College London.
Your initial consultation is a structured 60-minute appointment that includes a full assessment of your diet, medical history, symptoms, lifestyle and goals, followed by a personalised action plan.
“Highly recommend an appointment with this clinic. After struggling for years with BAD and perimenopausal symptoms, Amy took a holistic approach, was clearly very experienced and provided really helpful advice. I'd tied myself in knots researching online. She helped me to re focus and I came away from the appointment with a far greater understanding of my symptoms. The detailed report provided practical tips including recipe ideas. Thank you Amy!” Doctify verified 5-star review, 27 September 2026
