Has something shifted, affecting your health — but hard to explain?
Maybe:
• You’ve been managing health conditions for a long time, but something still doesn’t feel right
• Symptoms don’t fit into neat boxes, or overlap in ways no one else seems to understand
• You’ve followed advice, but it hasn’t worked the way you hoped
• Or it’s becoming overwhelming to keep it all going — the food, the routines, the energy it takes to manage
If any of this feels familiar, you don’t have to work through it alone.
Do you:
• Feel like you’ve tried everything, but the pieces still don’t fit?
• Worry something important is being missed or misunderstood?
• Wonder how to manage food, nutrition, and symptoms without it taking over your life?
• Want to feel heard — and supported?
With nearly 30 years in laboratory medicine, my career began behind the scenes supporting diagnosis and treatment through biomedical science. It has since evolved into therapeutic care — integrating science, medicine, complementary and therapeutic approaches with lived and professional experience.
I’m registered as a Dietitian, Nutritional Therapist, Biomedical Scientist, and Chartered Scientist, with additional mental health training and over 25 years of voluntary experience supporting people in distress and despair.
Areas of continued professional development include:
• Histamine intolerance
• Gut health
• Immune and inflammatory responses
• Fatigue
• Neurodivergence
• Kidney health (CKD stages 1–3)
• Physical–mental health interactions
• Nutrition in social care and care home settings
Histamine intolerance is a particular focus, explored through my Master’s dissertation. Experiences vary widely and it can be difficult to navigate. Together, we explore symptoms, patterns, and plans that work for you.
Health conditions affect routines, relationships, and identity. I understand how it feels to be unwell, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn. My aim is to offer a place to be recognised, a space to work things through, and support that combines clinical insight with compassionate care.
Alongside client work, I am:
• A speaker at national events including the Allergy & Free From Show 2024 and BBC Radio Merseyside
• A speaker at IBMS Congress 2025
• A member of the IBMS Cellular Pathology Advisory Panel
• Committed to raising the professional recognition of evidence-based complementary nutritional therapy within healthcare, and bridging gaps between disciplines
When you’re ready, support is available that brings together the medical, the therapeutic, and the human.
