I am Nicola, a Specialist Gastroenterology Dietitian with over 10 years experience, based in Basingstoke in Hampshire.

I am passionate about using evidence-based practice to enable individuals to optimise their nutrition, health and lifestyle holistically. My caring and compassionate approach is tailored to the individual, supporting gut health and the management of gastrointestinal symptoms. I love talking about food and the impact it can have on not only our physical but also our mental health and wellbeing.

- Pre and post gastrointestinal surgery optimisation

- High output stomas

- Optimising the gut microbiome

I offer remote video and telephone consultations as one-off, or ongoing sessions. I accept referrals direct from patients, from Gastroenterologists and surgeons and I am registered with and accept referrals from most of the UK insurance companies.

I also work part time for an NHS Trust as a Lead Gastroenterology Dietitian. I am a British Dietetic Association member and am also currently leading on the development of an advanced IBD course for Dietitians.
