I have practised as a Registered Dietitian since 1986, with over 20 years in healthcare and the NHS before moving to freelance and private practice in 2012.
I have a diverse range of clinical experience from working in many areas of dietetic care during my career.
I tailor advice and guidance to each individual's needs, taking account of their lifestyle, preferences, dietary intake to provide an individualised treatment plan.
My practice is primarily at Springfield Hospital in Chelmsford where I have clinics on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. I accept self-referrals and referrals from private GP's and Consultants.
I am an approved provider for most health insurance companies.
I offer virtual appointments where requested.
I specialise in Gastroenterology (IBS, functional bowel disorders, dyspepsia/reflux, diverticular disease, constipation, coeliac disease, and inflammatory bowel disease, & bile acid malabsorption).
I completed the Kings College FODMAP course in 2012, and attended several update courses over the years and most recently in 2021.
I specialise in bariatric surgery and are part of multi-disciplinary team supporting two upper GI & bariatric surgeons at Springfield Hospital since 2012. I offer specialist support for those using weight loss medications-GLP-1.
I have a passion for helping people achieve realistic and lasting weight loss.
I have considerable experience in nutrition support for those with unintentional weight loss or where a persons dietary intake is compromised and struggling to regain weight.
