I’m a specialist IBD dietitian based in Newcastle Upon Tyne in North East England.
I’m passionate about helping those living with IBD eat with confidence, not fear. I help people with Crohn’s and Colitis achieve their health and goals through practical, evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle support.
For 10 years, I worked as an NHS dietitian in the North East, supporting people living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. I saw first-hand how much IBD can impact daily life — the symptoms, the uncertainty around food, the fear of triggering flares, and the exhaustion of trying to figure it all out alone.
But I also realised in my NHS role I wasn’t able to provide the time or support they truly needed.
Appointments were often limited. Follow-up was restricted. The reality of healthcare pressures meant there wasn’t always space to explore the full picture — your symptoms, your lifestyle, your worries about food, and what would actually work for you long-term.
I knew there was more I could offer. So I decided to create it.
I set up my private practice to provide the level of care I believe people with IBD deserve.
Because managing IBD nutrition isn’t about a list of foods to avoid. It’s about building confidence, reducing fear, improving symptoms where possible, and helping you feel more in control of your body again.
My goal is simple, to help you eat with confidence, not fear — and to support your gut health in a way that is realistic, evidence-based, and sustainable.
When you work with me, you’re not just getting information. You’re getting specialist expertise, clinical experience, and the time and attention needed to actually make a difference.
