Susanna Wilson, Advanced Dietetic practitioner | HCPC, BDA, CORU
Hello, I'm Susanna Wilson—a Registered Dietitian with over a decade of experience in eating disorders and mental health. I’m registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Dietetic Association (BDA), and CORU, and I offer specialised support to individuals and families worldwide.
Over twelve years ago, I relocated to Scotland to pursue a degree in Dietetics at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. Since then, I’ve worked across England, Scotland, and Ireland in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting adolescents, adults, and families through recovery. My clinical background includes roles in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and adult eating disorder services in Edinburgh. I’ve also served in an advisory capacity on national policy development for eating disorders in Scotland.
With advanced training in non-medical prescribing at the master’s level, I bring an in-depth understanding of how medications can influence recovery. Beyond clinical work, I’m committed to supporting fellow professionals through workshops, clinical supervision, guest lectures, and media contributions focused on eating disorders.
My approach is always personalised and compassionate. I work with clients to explore more than just diet—we focus on routines, lifestyle, and body image to build a recovery plan that truly fits.
I specialise in the treatment of anorexia nervosa, bulimia, binge eating disorder, eating disorder fertility and pregnancy, disordered eating, and co-occurring mental health concerns like anxiety.
I provide online services to clients aged 12 and over, including support for carers. I’m proud to connect globally with individuals, health professionals, and students, helping to make expert care accessible—wherever you are.
