I have been working as a dietitian for 30 years (in the NHS and privately), specialising in paediatrics, coeliac disease and food intolerance and allergy. I have worked in all areas of paediatrics, having worked at a leading London Children’s Hospital for 8 years. I was diagnosed with coeliac disease as an infant and have been following a gluten-free diet since. Much of my work involves seeing children, but I also see people of any age with coeliac disease, food intolerance/allergy and IBS. I am an accomplished nutrition writer, have worked on a consultancy basis for a number of nutrition companies and I am a visiting lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire on the Nutrition and Dietetics and Physician Associate courses. I currently run a weekly online virtual dietetic clinic for a GP practice in north London, where I see a range of patients including those with IBS, Type 2 diabetes and food intolerances.
