In this lunch and learn session, one of our committee will present a case study of a patient with aspiration pneumonia and how they were supported through textured modified diet, oral nutritional supplements and enteral feeding. This case highlights the importance of understanding when a patient does/does not have capacity and the ability to make decisions against medical advice.
