Become a Writer or Reviewer

Do you have an interest in writing or reviewing?  If so, why not think about volunteering your time for the BDA in a writer or reviewer role? Check out the different opportunities for you to put your skills into practice.

Writing

Have you or your department delivered a successful project or pilot? Have you recently undertaken a cutting edge piece of research? Or have you delivered innovation in your dietetic practice? If so, why not think about sharing your experiences with the wider BDA membership by writing for your official members magazine Dietetics Today, which is mailed out to all approx 11,000 BDA members each month.

Reviewing

Do you have the skills to become a reviewer for one of our key publications?

  • Food Fact Sheets - Perhaps you'd like to peer-review one of our popular Food Fact Sheet resources when they are due for review? You can register your interest by getting in touch.
  • PEN - Do you have the skills to peer-review practice-based evidence? Would you like to help us build the UK content and evidence base for PEN? Find out more.
  • Dietetics Today - We often feature reviews of books or apps in Dietetics Today that you might find interesting or useful. If you would like to become a reviewer please email our editor your details alongside any of your areas of interest and we can consider you for reviewing.
