The Scottish Government has made a pay offer to those working for NHS Scotland on Agenda for Change terms and conditions, for the next two financial years.

The British Dietetic Association (BDA) has suspended the current industrial action ballot of its NHS members in Scotland in order to consult on the revised pay offer of an average increase of 7.5% received today following intense negotiations this week.

Christine, who retired from practice in March after a 42-year career, will chair the first board meeting of her three-year tenure in November.

The BDA is to begin consulting members in NHS Scotland on a pay offer of 5%.

Negotiations have now concluded as the Scottish government enters the pre-election period and an offer has been made.
