The Scottish Government has made a pay offer to those working for NHS Scotland on Agenda for Change terms and conditions, for the next two financial years.
The Scottish Government has offered a 4.25% pay increase for 2025/26 and 3.75% pay increase for 2026/27. The offer includes a built-in safeguard to protect staff should inflation increase. If average inflation ends up being higher than 3.25% in 2025/26 or 2.75% in 2026/27 then extra pay will be added to ensure the overall increase is at least 1% above inflation for that year.
The BDA, along with other NHS trade unions, has worked hard to secure this offer and believe it to be the best available through negotiation.
BDA members working in NHS Scotland will now be invited to vote on whether to accept or reject the offer.
Simon Fevre, National Employment Relations Officer for the BDA in Scotland, says: “It’s important that every BDA member working for the NHS in Scotland has their say, so that we have a clear mandate for our next steps."
Further details of the offer are available here.
BDA members will be emailed directly with details of how to vote.
