Description: NICE are currently undertaking research to better understand the experience of people implementing GLP-1s across weight management, diabetes management and cardiovascular disease prevention. This is to help us better understand the enablers and challenges to uptake and to explore the types of support NICE could offer.
By 'implementing' they mean any task involved in enabling patient access to these medicines, including commissioning responsibilities, service delivery, ensuring access locally, prescribing and / or ongoing monitoring of patients etc.
