We are a friendly and supportive committee made up of UK Dietitians working in the NHS, private practice, industry and research. Being part of the committee provides an opportunity to work collectively with Dietitians on national projects and consult on topical issues related to paediatric nutrition, key documents and statements.

Bahee Van de Bor - Paediatric Group Chair

Bahee, is a paediatric dietitian with 18 years of clinical experience, including a noteworthy 12-year tenure at Great Ormond Street NHS Trust. She has recently transitioned into freelance dietetics (www.ukkidsnutrition.com). In her new role, she focuses on assisting children dealing with fussy eating and gastrointestinal issues.

With a genuine research interest, Bahee has contributed to the field by publishing journal articles on renal and ketogenic diets. Currently, her dedication is directed towards fostering awareness and the management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), as well as advocating for good gut health in children.

Taking on the role of Chair of the BDA Paediatric Specialist group marks an exciting chapter for Bahee. Her vision is to collaboratively contribute to the evolution of paediatric dietetics, a journey she eagerly looks forward to alongside a vibrant, welcoming and supportive committee.
