I am passionate about food and improving lives through good nutrition and supporting a sensible and healthy relationship with what we eat. As a Dietitian I provide a balanced, expert approach to food and nutrition and I work creatively to provide practical dietary advice for real people to enjoy everyday life.
I have over 17 years’ experience, working within the NHS, in hospitals and in the local community, working alongside other health professionals to support adults and children as individuals and in groups.
I specialise in using behavioural change approaches to support people to manage their weight by guiding them to make the right dietary choices, correctly tailored to their individual lifestyle, nutrition and wellbeing. I also support people with irritable bowel syndrome (Low FODMAP trained), women’s health (including pre-conception, pregnancy, polycystic ovarian syndrome, menopause), cholesterol lowering and heart health, weaning and fussy eating, plant-based diets and nutritional assessments. Additionally, I enjoy delivering presentations and workshops on a range of healthy eating and lifestyle topics to suit the requirements of a particular group.
I am committed to helping people understand how the food they eat affects health and wellbeing. Put simply, I help you to understand how your body responds to the food you eat by making nutritional science easy to understand.
