Members Invited to Shape Our Priorities Ahead of the 2027 Northern Ireland Elections

11 March 2026

With the Northern Ireland Assembly elections taking place in 2027, we want to ensure that your views are understood by political parties.

To support this work, we are launching a short member survey to gather your insights on the key issues that will inform our manifesto.

The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete and will remain open until 8 May 2026.

We want to understand:

  • The top issues facing dietetics in Northern Ireland.
  • What action you think the next government should take.
  • Which of the BDA’s five campaigns you think matter the most in this election.

Your responses will directly inform our election messaging, manifesto, and engagement with candidates and parties. This is an opportunity to ensure that our advocacy reflects the lived experience and expertise of members across all sectors and settings.

The stronger and more representative our evidence base, the more effectively we can make the case for change.

We encourage all members working across Northern Ireland to take part.

Please log in to complete the survey.

If you have any questions about the survey or our pre-election engagement, please contact [email protected]

Your responses will inform our work moving forward. If you’re interested in further discussion, join us for an engaging and forward-looking webinar to hear about the work so far, explore the draft manifesto, and share your views before it is finalised. Book on to the event here.
