Members in England, Wales and Northern Ireland voted to accept the 3.6% 2025 pay award for Agenda for Change staff. The consultation on the pay award closed on the 7 July. Thank you to everyone that voted.
Here is a breakdown of the vote by nation

England: 60% voted in favour

Wales: 67% voted in favour

Northern Ireland: 81% voted in favour
The award is for members working in the NHS and Health and Social Care Northern Ireland for 2025/26. The award is 3.6% across all pay grades and will be backdated to 1 April.
The result of the pay award consultation vote means that the BDA will not be taking industrial action this year.
